Pumpkin Spice Donuts

There’s nothing more satisfying than coming home from a long day in the cool, crisp air to a good cup of coffee or tea and a warm pumpkin spice donut. Just thinking about it has my mouth watering.

One of my favorite things about autumn is baking and one of my favorite recipes to bake on a chilly fall morning is pumpkin spice donuts. The recipe I use is super easy and has proven to be a crowd-pleaser in the past. So if you’ve been looking for a really quick and easy fall-inspired dessert today’s post is tailor-made for you.

What makes this recipe perfect for beginner bakers (or folks who don’t really like baking) is that it’s easy. It’s also an inexpensive way to enjoy some of the spices that remind us of all. All you really need is a box of Duncan Hines Perfectly Moist Spice Cake Mix, a can of pumpkin puree, some pumpkin pie spice, and donut pans. I got these donut pans from Amazon last year and fell in love with them. They’re so easy to use and they give you the perfect shaped donuts. While this recipe tastes the best just after the donuts are pulled from the oven, I recommend heating them up in the microwave for a couple of seconds the next day to get all soft and gooey.
