Spring Skincare Routine for Oily Skin

Spring Skincare Routine for Oily Skin

Hello friends, in today’s post I’m going to share my spring skincare routine for oily skin. Now technically I have oily/combination skin, but during the warmer months of spring and summer my oiliness really shines through (no pun intended). The products I’m sharing in this post help me keep my skin hydrated and my oils at bay. If you struggle with oily/combo skin these products are sure to help you too.

Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm – $17.99

Ok, so the first product I want to share is the Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm. When I cleanse my face this is the first product I reach for because it dissolves stubborn makeup in a matter of seconds and it doesn’t  irritate my eyes. Formulated with moisture-rich ingredients like Vitamin E, Jojoba oil, avocado oil, eucalyptus oil, and clove leaf oil, this lightweight balm not only breaks down makeup but helps soothe and moisturize the skin, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean but never stripped.

Skinfood Rice Daily Brightening Cleansing Foam – $12.00

Because I wear makeup most days I’m a big supporter of double-cleansing, which is why I reach for a foaming cleanser. Foaming cleansers are perfect if you have oily skin because they’re lightweight yet effective. The Skinfood Rice Cleansing Foam is one of my favorites because it’s formulated with Cheorwon Odae rice bran that helps gently exfoliate and brighten the skin.

CosRx Hydrium Watery Toner – $22.00

After all that cleansing the best way to put moisture back into your skin is by using a toner. The CosRx Hydrium Watery Toner is an awesome choice because it removes impurities and rebalances your skin’s natural skin condition. With six types of hyaluronic acids and 0.1% Vitamin B, this toner absorbs into the skin in seconds, leaving it supple and soft.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum – $45.00

Believe it or not, one of the best ways to fight oiliness in the spring and summer months is to keep your skin hydrated. And while there are numerous hyaluronic serums on the market the Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum is my current go-to because it’s formulated with three different kinds of plum and five weights of hyaluronic acid. The three antioxidant-rich plums work together to nourish and rejuvenate your skin’s appearance quickly and over time. This powerhouse serum helps to support a healthy skin barrier by guarding against free radicals and dryness.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream – $39.00

You have to finish off your skincare with a good moisturizer and my recommendation is the Glow Recipe Plum Plump Cream. Formulated with hyaluronic and polyglutamic acid, plum, and ice willowherb, this whipped gel moisturizer helps to boost hydration and lock in moisture. Not only does this moisturizer leave your skin feeling soft and nourished, it dries down quickly so you can wear it under makeup and sunscreen.

Speaking of sunscreen, I didn’t include one in this post because I’ll be sharing some of my favorite sunscreens in a later post so be on the lookout for that. Until next time . . .
