Introducing My Patreon – How You Can Support www.nelliecoody.com

I’ve got some very exciting news! I just started a Patreon account for www.nelliecoody.com. Woo-hoo! In case you’re wondering what Patreon is – it’s an online membership platform that provides content creators with the business tools they need to get paid for the content they create through reader and/or customer support.

You can visit my Patreon page to see each of the membership tiers that I provide and to learn what each tier offers. There are currently 3 monthly tiers available: Pine Tree Pals – $3, Backwoods Besties – $5, and Southern Sisters – $20.

With your support, I’m hoping that www.nelliecoody.com will continue to grow and become a source of inspiration, encouragement, and joy for you for many, many years.

Why I Started a Patreon

One of the main reasons I started a Patreon is so that I can have the freedom of writing blog posts and creating content for products and places that I love and enjoy without depending solely on sponsored brand partnerships and commissions on the purchases you make by using my affiliate links. While both of these sources of income are great, they are not completely sustainable in the consistent running and up-keep of the blog. As with anything, running a blog has its costs. What kind of costs, you may ask. Well, there’s the cost of editing software, online graphic design platforms, transportation to photoshoot locations, and Cloud storage just to name a few. And while that might not seem like a lot, they do tend to add up. That’s why I believe monthly support from readers like you can provide the stability and sustainability needed for www.nelliecoody.com to continue to flourish.

Let’s Be Real

Another reason I wanted to start a Patreon is because it can get pretty tiring trying to get brands to notice you in an ocean full of influencers who have more followers than you. Many brands will only work with influencers or bloggers based on the number of followers they have. Unfortunately, in today’s technological age it has become way, way too easy for people to buy fake followers, making follower count kind of meaningless. I never want my blog or my social media platforms to become a place of bot accounts or fake followers so that is why I come to you – my readers – to humbly ask for your support.

If you are able to support and invest in www.nelliecoody.com I cannot express how grateful I am and how much I appreciate your contribution. And if you can’t afford to give right now, I still want to share with you how appreciative I am for every time you leave a comment, every time you share, and every time you like a post. I will continue to make free content that I hope will inspire and inform you.

YOU CAN SUPPORT WWW.NELLIECOODY.COM ON PATREON HERE

I began www.nelliecoody.com as a way to share some of my favorite products and places to travel and I believe that Patreon will be an amazing way to not only keep the blog going but to keep it growing. Starting a blog was something I always wanted to do because it also gave me a place to write, share my thoughts, and connect with people who like the same things that I do. And I truly believe that Patreon will help me bring a sense of community to the blog.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post (or any post, for that matter) and thank you for every share, every comment, and every email in the past. I appreciate your readership and support more than I can ever say or express. And thank you if you choose to support www.nelliecoody.com on Patreon.

Verse of the Day: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father or lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. – James 1:17
