I’ve been seeing it more and more lately and after months of hearing rave reviews about the brand, I finally decided it was time to see what all the hype was about. As someone with oily skin who’s always looking for products that hydrate without feeling heavy, I was excited to put these minimalist skincare essentials to the test.

Now that I’ve tried some of their bestsellers, I can honestly see why Rhode is such a popular skincare brand. Here’s my thoughts on a few of the products I got my hands on.

Why I Decided to Try Rhode
I’m always on the lookout for skincare that focuses on healthy, glowing skin rather than complicated routines with dozens of products. That’s why Rhode’s philosophy of creating simple, effective essentials caught my attention right away.
The clean packaging, straightforward ingredient lists, and promise of hydrated, radiant skin made me curious enough to finally place an order.
Pocket Blush
Rhode’s Pocket Blushes have quickly become one of my favorite cream blush formulas. They have a smooth, creamy texture that blends effortlessly into the skin, giving a natural, healthy flush without feeling greasy or heavy. I also love the compact packaging—it’s perfect for tossing in a purse for quick touch-ups throughout the day. I highly recommend the shades Freckle and Tan Line for a sun-kissed look.
Pocket Bronze
Rhode’s Pocket Bronzers are a great option if you’re looking for an easy, natural-looking cream bronzer. The formula is lightweight and blends seamlessly into the skin, adding warmth and subtle definition without looking muddy or patchy. It layers beautifully over foundation and other cream products. I tried Sip, Pebble, and Sunbed and I still can’t decide which shade I love the most.
Peptide Lip Shade
The Peptide Lip Shade is the perfect combination of nourishing lip care and beautiful color. The formula feels incredibly smooth and hydrating, leaving my lips soft while adding a sheer wash of color that’s easy to wear every day. The peptide-infused formula helps keep lips looking healthy and moisturized. My one complaint is that they don’t stay on my lips as long as I’d like them too.

Peptide Eye Prep Patches
I actually didn’t expect to like these as much as I did but once I gave them a try I fell in love. Rhode’s Peptide Eye Patches are a refreshing treat whenever my under-eye area needs a little extra love. They feel cooling and soothing from the moment they’re applied, helping to hydrate and temporarily reduce the look of puffiness while leaving the skin feeling soft and refreshed. The lightweight hydrogel patches stay in place comfortably, making them perfect for getting ready in the morning or unwinding after a long day.
How My Skin Felt
