3 Ways to Style a Printed Blouse

3 Ways to Style a Printed Blouse

Transitioning your wardrobe from Summer to Fall can be kind of challenging if you live in a place like me where it’s still reaching the low to mid 100s on the thermometer. As most Louisianians know, the month of August is usually our hottest month. And while Hobby Lobby and Michael’s might say that it’s Sweater Weather time, my local weather forecast repeatedly tells me that it’s not yet.

Which is why I wanted to write this post – to give you 3 easy ways to style a printed blouse that you can wear in the Summer and Fall. No matter if the temps are rising or dropping, this top will get you through it.

Sizing info: Tops – XL/1X or 16/18     Pants – 16/18     Shoes – 10W

A printed blouse can be a go-to piece in your closet because it’s versatile – you can wear it to work or to run weekend errands. Because it’s so lightweight, it’s the perfect piece to help you move from Summer to Fall. It has short tab sleeves which help keep you cool in the warmer months and make it easy to layer under cardigans or jackets in the cooler months. It also comes in a ton of sizes – ranging from XS to 4X.

Look #1 – Work Wear

One of the easiest ways to style a printed blouse for work is to pair it with a blazer and some black trousers. A blazer can pull almost any look together.

Look #2 – Casual Vibes

For your weekend plans, try pairing the blouse with your favorite pair of jeans and sneakers. Not only is this the easiest way to style a printed blouse – it’s one of the most comfortable.

Shop the Look: Blouse (Maurices) | Bootcut Jeans (Torrid – similar) | White Sneakers (Maurices) | Gold Locket (Etsy)

Look #3 – Cardigan Corduroy

Nothing makes an outfit feel more autumnal than wearing corduroy, which is why for this last look I paired the blouse with a wine colored corduroy skirt and a neutral cardigan. This is definitely going to be a go-to outfit for me this Fall.

Thank you so much. I love Maurices because they have cute clothes in a range of sizes. Also, their clothes are last a long time so you get more for your money. 🙂
