The Best Buys from the Em Cosmetics Masterpiece Collection & More for Spring

Em Cosmetics is a beauty brand that is dear to my heart because it’s owned by one of my favorite OG beauty YouTubers of all time – Michelle Phan. Back when makeup tutorials were taking over YouTube, Michelle’s channel was the place I would go to learn all kinds of makeup tips and tricks. So you can imagine my excitement when she launched Em Cosmetics, her very own cosmetic company. Well, Em Cosmetics recently released their stunning Masterpiece Collection and – like everything else from this brand – it didn’t disappoint.

In today’s post I’m going to share my favorite pieces from the Masterpiece Collection and from Em Cosmetics, in general. If you’ve been eyeing this collection for a while or you just need an introduction to Em Cosmetics, this is the post for you.

Divine Skies Eyeshadow Palette in Da Vinci

The Masterpiece Collection comes with two neutral Divine Skies eyeshadow palettes – Da Vinci and Rodin. While both are equally gorgeous, I chose the Da Vinci palette because it offers warmer tones than Rodin does, which I thought would be perfect for the spring and summer months coming up. Each palette comes with 6 shadows and consists of buttery mattes and sparkling (yet completely approachable) metallics. I found all of the shadows in Da Vinci to blend smoothly and wear well all day. Also, the palette can easily fit in the palm of your hand – making it perfect for travel or to carry in your purse for those on-the-go touch-ups.

Heaven’s Glow Radiant Veil Blush in Rococo

I don’t know how Em Cosmetics does it, but their blush formulas are truly unique – especially in this collection. The Masterpiece collection offers 2 Heaven’s Glow Radiant Veil Blushes – Baroque and Rococo. Baroque is cool, neutral beige blush but out of the two, I was drawn to Rococo because it’s more of a soft copper than a peachy pink or burnt orange and I don’t have anything like in my collection. The blush is very smooth and holds up well after a long day. Plus, the formula includes pearlized pigments that leave your cheeks with a warm, healthy glow.

Sunscape Highlighter in Clarity

While the Sunscape Highlighters are not part of the Masterpiece Collection, they are equally stunning so I had to include them in this post. What makes these highlighters so amazing is that they’re made with a gel-to-powder formula that blurs the skin and leaves your cheeks looking radiant. They currently come in 4 shades that range from rose pink to warm bronze, but I picked up the shade Clarity, which is a light champagne. I really enjoy this highlighter because it gives your cheeks a stunning yet approachable glow, which makes it perfect for daytime wear.

Lip Cushion Tinted Lip Luminizers in Mona Lisa & Van Gogh

Two stand-outs from the Masterpiece Collection are the Lip Cushion Tinted Lip Luminizers in Mona Lisa and Van Gogh. Mona Lisa is a more beigey nude and Van Gogh is more of a burnt or terracotta nude. Out of all of the products Em Cosmetics has to offer – their Lip Cushions are some of my favorites because each Lip Cushion is formulated with Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid. They leave your lips feeling hydrated and soft – making them feel kind of like a hybrid of lip balm and lip gloss.

Fine Liner Brow Pencil in Brunette

Last but not least, I have to tell you about the Fine Liner Brow Pencils (which are not part of the Masterpiece Collection). If you’ve been looking for a brow pencil that’s easy to use and leaves your brows looking full and natural, then the Fine Liner Brow Pencils are for you. The shape of the tip of the pencil is unlike anything else on the market because it’s oval-shaped, not slanted like most brow pencils, making it easier to draw realistic, hairlike strokes. I tried this brow pencil a few months back and was blown away at how easy it was to use. The pencils come in 5 shades that blend well with most complexions and hair color.

All in all, the Em Cosmetics Masterpiece Collection is perfect for anyone who wants to do a soft glam look, for anyone who really loves neutrals and nudes, or for anyone just starting out in makeup. It’s definitely not a collection or a brand to miss.

Love the packaging
