2 Quick & Easy Dessert Recipes Just in Time for Easter

Easter is just around the corner and if you’re like me, you may be scrambling for a quick and easy dessert to serve to your family and friends on the big day. Holidays have a way of sneaking up on me sometimes so if I can find a dessert recipe that’s quick, affordable, and delicious, I’m totally going to try it.

I tested out these two easy dessert recipes at the end of March and my family loved them.

Easter Chocolate Chip Cookies

The first recipe is for Easter Chocolate Chip Cookies. This recipe is so simple it’ll make you laugh but trust me, it’ll make your friends think you worked all day in the kitchen. You just need a 24 pack of Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip cookies (or Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in 36 oz tub) and some Easter M&Ms. Roll the cookie dough into balls and then add 3 to 4 M&Ms to the balls and place on a cookie sheet. Then bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes, let cool, and enjoy.

Vanilla Almond Easter Cupcakes

The second recipe is for Vanilla Almond Easter Cupcakes. This recipe requires 1 box of Betty Crocker Super Moist White Cake Mix (or any white cake mix of your choice), 1 cup of milk, ½ cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of almond extract, 3 eggs. Once all of your ingredients are mixed together pour the mixture into a cupcake pan and then back at 350 degrees for 19 minutes. Let the cupcakes cool and then top them with cream cheese icing and some fun colored sprinkles.

Easy, peazy, right? Totally. Out of the two recipes, which one would you like to try? The cookies or the cupcakes or maybe both? Let me know in the comments. And if you do try one of these recipes tag me on Instagram by using #EasterBakingNC. Happy Easter!
