Youth to the People: The Youth System Review

Youth to the People: The Youth System Review

One skincare brand that has always piqued my curiosity is Youth to the People. Over the years I’ve heard good reviews from several of my favorite Youtubers and bloggers, but when I finally saw that Sephora had The Youth System in stock I knew it was my chance to give the brand a try for myself. I have oily/combination skin so I’m always on the lookout for skincare products that help to keep my oils at bay, doesn’t irritate my skin or eyes, and actually provides results over time.

Youth to the People is a clean skincare brand that’s 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Formulated with nutrient-rich superfood plant extracts, this brand offers products that are not only good for your skin but good for the environment. If you’ve ever been curious about this brand, The Youth System is the perfect way to test out some of their bestsellers at a fraction of the cost. Designed to work for all types, this six-piece kit targets a range of skin concerns and goals. It also comes with a card that gives you step-by-step instructions on how to get the most out of each product.

Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser

Think of this gentle, water-based cleanser as a daily green juice cleanse for your face. Formulated with kale, spinach, and green tea, this cleanser conditions and protects the skin in one swoop. While it doesn’t have much of a scent or lather, it definitely gets the job done.

15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum

This lightweight serum contains 15% vitamin C, plant caffeine, passion fruit, and dragon fruit that work together to give the skin a firmer appearance and brighten it. Because it’s lightweight, its silky texture glides across the skin effortlessly, leaving your face feeling soft and smooth.

Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Oil

If velvety-soft skin is what you want then look no further than this face oil. Some of its key ingredients are prickly pear and squalane, which lock in moisture, and goji and acai, which help to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Apply 2 to 5 drops after cleansing and see the results.

Yerba Mate Resurfacing Energy Facial

This physical exfoliant works to break down dead skin cells with superfood ingredients like papaya, active enzymes, and pineapple. In a matter of minutes, any roughness your skin has will be smoothed away, leaving your face feeling invigorated and soft.

Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream

A good lightweight moisturizer can be hard to find but not this one. Like the cleanser, this moisturizer is also formulated with kale, spinach, and green tea which help fight free radicals, replenish, and firm the skin. And because it’s never greasy, it works great under makeup, keeping your face hydrated all day.

Superberry Dream Eye Cream

I’ve never been much on eye creams but the older I’m getting the more I find myself reaching for one. This eye cream visibly smooths the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and even works to hydrate while you sleep. Formulated with Vitamin C, goji stem cell, and hyaluronic acid, it replenishes essential moisture and firms the skin over time.

What skincare brand should I try next? Let me know in the comments.

Verse of the Day: “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord: “I will put My laws in their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. – Hebrews 10:16-18
