Vampire Kisses Series by Ellen Schreiber: The Book Series You Need to Read this Halloween

If you like strong female protagonists, dreamy, loner vampires, laugh out loud plotlines, and Halloween, do I have a book series for you. The Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber is one of the best book series I ever read. Not only will it get you in the spooky season spirit, it will actually make you laugh out loud a few times, which is why I want to dedicate this post to it.

The Vampire Kisses series is about a 16 year old goth girl named Raven who lives in the small (and quintessentially boring) town of Dullsville. Because of her dark style and love of vampires, Raven is an outcast, but her luck begins to change when mysterious new occupants move into the creepy old Benson Hill manor that’s rumored to be haunted.

On a dare, Raven breaks into the manor only to find that the occupants aren’t as strange as she thought. They include an old but friendly butler and the dark and handsome Alexander Sterling, a lonely teenager who’s just moved from Romania. When rumors begin to swirl that Alexander is really a vampire, it’s up to Raven to keep his secret (and his heart) safe.

This series includes 9 books as well as a Manga spin-off. Each book follows the love story of Raven and Alexander and how they outsmart Alexander’s enemies that follow him to Dullsville.

I highly recommend this book series to any reader who wants to be entertained because each story will hold your attention. The more you get to know Raven and Alexander, the more you’ll never want to leave Dullsville.
