🏛️ Late Morning: Wander Through Centennial Park & The Parthenon
Next, drive or grab an Uber to Centennial Park (yes, the same Centennial Park Taylor Swift was singing about), a spacious 132-acre urban oasis created from the grounds of the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition. Be sure to find the Taylor Swift Bench and stroll along the walking paths that circle around the lagoon.

While the park has plenty of beautiful and relaxing spots to appreciate, don’t forget to explore Nashville’s stunning Parthenon, a full-scale replica of its Athenian namesake. Originally built in 1897 and reconstructed in concrete between 1920–1931, this marvel replicates Greek architectural perfection. Inside, you’ll find a gigantic 42‑foot Athena Parthenos statue, gilded in gold and recreated by Alan LeQuire in 1990—the tallest indoor sculpture in the United States – and plenty of detailed sculptures to muse over.

🍽️ Lunch: Flavors at Nashville Farmers’ Market
A short trip away lies the Nashville Farmers’ Market, located at 900 Rosa L Parks Blvd, Nashville, TN 37208. Open year-round, this vibrant hub features fresh produce, artisan goods, a garden center, and an international food hall with 20+ vendors.
Browse colorful market sheds and Market House, then sample local flavors—whether vegan tacos, Asian delicacies, ice cream, or artisanal baked goods. Sit, savor, and recharge amid lively chatter and friendly smiles. The market offers a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as a clean and safe place to grab a souvenir or a bite to eat.

📝 Travel Tips:
- Parking: Street parking near Draper James is available but fills quickly—aim to arrive early. At Centennial and the Farmers’ Market, parking lots are plentiful.
- Seasons: Centennial Park buds alive in spring and summer, while fall brings glorious foliage.
- Local Touches: Pick up fresh flowers or homegrown fruits and veggies at the Market. And be sure to bring a camera—both the Parthenon and Draper James murals are Instagram gold.
