I think there’s something magical about taking the time to view your hometown as a tourist. You never what you’re going to find and it totally changes your whole perspective of a place. Natchitoches is definitely one of my favorite places to go.

My parents were both born and raised in Natchitoches in the early 1900. The moved to Houston, Texas where I was conceived in the 1950. I never knew what a beautiful city it was until I spent six weeks with my cousin Gloria Freeman, that was born and raised there. In August of 2021 was the most exciting time I had. Attending Church Services, Weddings and Funerals at my Uncle’s Church before he passed on Amulet Street. Pastor HB Barnum. What a privilege! Meeting many relatives on both Dad and Mom side. There’s a lot more I love to see. Cane River at Christmas time.
