I don’t know about you but I love finding clean beauty brands that offer products that actually work. Honest Beauty – founded by Jessica Alba – has quickly become one of those brands for me. It’s cruelty free and it offers everything from mascara to face powder to lipstick that are dermatologist tested and full of plant-derived ingredients.
Here’s 5 products that I have fallen in love with from this brand.
Honest Beauty Eyeshadow Palette
If you like easy-to-use palettes that can help you achieve every day looks in a matter of minutes then the Honest Beauty Eyeshadow Palette is definitely for you. The mattes blend seamlessly and the colors work together beautifully to help you take your look from day to night with a few simple brush strokes. But the best part is that it’s made without parabens, talc, mineral oil, paraffins, or silicone (basically, anything that can harm or irritate your skin).

Honest Beauty Creme Cheek Blush
Because I live in Louisiana humidity is something I deal with for most of the year. Thankfully the Honest Beauty Creme Cheek Blush is a blush that can stand up to it. The formula is very smooth and very pigmented. A little goes a long way so I usually apply it with my fingertips to sheer it out. It’s filled with ingredients like blackberry, raspberry, and grapefruit extract that leave you with a dewy flush.

I usually steer clear of liquid lipsticks because they can leave my lips feeling drier than New Mexico in July but when I saw the Honest Beauty Liquid Lipstick in the shade Passion I knew I had to give it a try and I’m glad I did. The formula glides on smoothly, leaving your lips feeling nourished and moisturized thanks to the avocado oil that’s in it. It also has hyaluronic acid that helps draw moisture into your lips so it doesn’t flake off after an hour of wear time.

Honest Beauty 2-in-1 Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer
My lashes are stick-straight on most days so I’m always on the lookout for a mascara that can give my lashes curl and lift – the Honest Beauty 2-in-1 Extreme Length Mascara and Lash Primer does both. This mascara never leaves my lashes feeling dry or crunchy, thanks to the Jojoba Esters in it that help to moisturize and condition.

Honest Beauty Invisible Blurring Loose Powder
I have oily/combination skin (oily in my T-zone & chin and drier around the perimeter of my face) so loose powder is a must. The Honest Beauty loose powder became one of my face powder favorites the first time I used it because it kept my oils at bay all day – even after an 8 hour work day in Louisiana heat. Also, it glides on smoothly, never leaving your face cakey or your pores clogged. Now that’s saying something.

All in all, Honest Beauty is a brand that I’m glad I gave a try because they offer dependable products that are cruelty-free, affordable, and clean. I can’t wait to explore all of the other makeup and skincare products they have to offer.
